We’re really cool, it’s true, but we also have some guests requirements:
- Guests ages 5 and up can attend.
- Your should feel comfortable in the sea
- Not recommended for people with back and heart problemas
- It is not accessible to wheelchairs
- Not recommended for pregnant women
- Not recommended for people with hernias
Frequently asked questions
Huuum … Let’s see. If we are going to be in close contact with water, it would be important to bring a bathing suit (we try to be as inclusive as possible but the law in Portugal does not yet allow you to do nudism in outdoor activities…yet). But, you can do the kayak tour barefoot or, if you are a pro (ulálá) you can bring your water shoes.
We don’t want you to look like a lobster, so if you don’t have tanned skin like the locals here (lucky people = D), during the summer it’s best to bring sunscreen.
If you are like us and do you don’t like the cold, during winter it may be better to bring a thermal top. If you want to get even hotter (“It’s getting hot in hereeee”), you can also bring a wetsuit.

The meeting point it’s at Armacao de Pera beach, behind Holiday Inn Algarve Hotel. We wear a Bright Green T-Shirt and its very easy to identify us. Don’t Forget to arrive 15 minutes early. Just in case you come by car, there is free parking on the right side of the Holiday Inn Algarve Hotel. You can park there, and after you just have to go downstairs to the beach.

No, sorry, just for pros. WE ARE KIDDING :)) There is no need for previous experience, after all, we are not going to run any race. Your guide will give you a brief theoretical explanation and give you all the necessary advice. If you experience any difficulties, he is always there to help.

Of course, you don’t need to be Michael Phelps but you need to feel comfortable at sea.
Either way, and because we don’t want to do mouth-to-mouth breathing (Erhh) you’ll always have a life jacket, also, our guides are trained at assisting you back onto your kayak so help is usually easy on the hand.
The minimum age to rent a kayak with an adult is 5 years old. We have double kayaks but small children can go in the middle of the two adults. We advise families with young children to choose our first kayak tour of the day, instead of other tour.
We want that the experience becomes truly unique and so you don’t feel like “one more tourist”. We want you to feel like you’re hanging out with a group of friends. If you arrive without a reservation, you may not have a mega paddle board available.

As long as the wind speed does not exceed 25 miles per hour, it is not thundering and there is no sea turmoil we are ready to let you try this amazing experience! If the weather conditions are not met to do this kayak rental safely, we will reschedule your kayak experience.
The risk of injury is very low. This is partly due to the level of safety precautions taken before and during the experience and also due to the use of life jackets and by the constant presence of an experienced guide.
